The Man Who Was Born Blind
Summary
Jesus saw a man blind from birth. He made mud with his spit, put it on the eyes of the man, and told him to wash in the Siloam Pool. The man went and washed and came home able to see.
He was interrogated by his neighbors about what had happened. The Pharisees also interrogated him, because it was against their rules to make mud, or put it on something, on the Sabbath. They interrogated and intimidated his parents. They took offense at the man’s story and threw him out. Jesus found him and as a result of the conversation, the man expressed faith in Jesus.
